Meet the (mostly dead) Family
My name is Kelly Malone. I’m a 46-year-old singler mother of four grown sons and proud grandmother to three little boys. I spent 21 years as a military spouse, DoD employee and company volunteer -supporting service members and their families throughout the OIF, OEF and "Drawdown" eras—work that shaped my resilience, changed the way I looked at the world and deepened my commitment to acts of service.
Long before that, I was a kidnapped child, and later, foster kid in Las Vegas, Nevada—raised by circumstance and friends, not choice. Losing family and friends early on gave me a sharp, lived-in understanding of the cultures that shape our world—not the ones we read about in textbooks, but the ones that actually matter to the people who hold them dear. That experience taught me how to navigate chaos, cut through pointless noise, and build solutions that lift as many people as possible. Especially when times are trying, to say the least.
I’m not running to play politics in 2028, I'm running to end it. We should be done of that by now, anyhow—I’m stepping up because the job needs doing and I actually know how to do it. In my free time, I dive deep into constitutional law, world history, genealogy & genetics as well as mass media —because I believe that understanding our past is the key to fixing our future. And the best part? I’m not doing it alone. I’m bringing "all of us" with me. And "all of us" are some pretty amazing individuals.
Also, please meet my family... Saluti!
